The "2017 AHR EXPO," the largest air conditioning and heating Expo in the U.S., selected the "Combi boiler" as the "Innovation Award Winner." Kiturami Co., Ltd. The "2017 AHR EXPO" was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, in Nevada for 3 days from Jan. 30 (Mon.) to Feb. 1 (Wed.). It was the largest air conditioning and heating event in North America, hosted by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). More than 40,000 guests visited the Expo.
All the products are divided into 10 sectors including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, etc. They are then evaluated based on specific criteria such as application, innovation, value, impacts on market, etc. The most innovative product is selected as an "Innovation Award Winner."
The Combi boiler, an "Innovation Award Winner," achieved 95% of annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) by adopting condensing technology. Since combi boiler made exhaust gas in low temperature, a stainless flue is not required. Additionally, it gives cost-reducing effect to homeowners by providing both heating and hot water at the same time.
